About Hourforge
Hourforge is an offline time-tracking application for recording work across projects.
Users can run live timers, create manual time entries, attach notes, review history, and calculate optional project value using an hourly rate.
No account or sign-in is required.
Personal Information
Hourforge does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, passwords, payment details, precise location, contacts, or other identifying information for a developer-controlled account.
The developer does not maintain an online database of individual Hourforge users.
Projects and Labels
Users may create project names and related labels to organize tracked time.
Running Timer
When a timer is active, Hourforge may process its start time, current duration, selected project, and optional note.
The timer can be stopped, switched to another project, resumed, or edited as part of normal local use.
Timer activity is not sent to a remote tracking service.
Logged Time Blocks
Users may create time entries manually after work has already taken place.
A manual entry may contain a date, start time, end time or duration, project association, and optional note.
These records remain local to the application.
History and Editing
Hourforge may store previous time entries so users can review how time was spent across individual days.
Existing entries may be edited to correct forgotten stops, incorrect durations, notes, or project assignments.
Day, Week, and Month Views
Hourforge may summarize tracked time by project across daily, weekly, and monthly periods.
These summaries are calculated from local entries so users can understand where their time was spent.
Estimated Work Value
Users may assign an hourly rate to a project. Hourforge can multiply that rate by tracked time to display an estimated running total.
Hourly rates and calculated totals are not sent to the developer.
Local Storage
Hourforge may store projects, time entries, notes, hourly rates, history, preferences, and report information in local application storage.
This information remains on the device and is not uploaded to an Hourforge cloud account.
No Hourforge Cloud Sync
Hourforge's core timer, manual logging, reporting, and history functions are designed to operate without an online account or developer-provided cloud synchronization.
Your tracked work history does not need to be uploaded to a remote server for the app to function.
No Sensitive Device Access
Hourforge does not require access to contacts, camera, microphone, messages, call history, precise location, or personal media files for its core functionality.
No Third-Party Ads
Hourforge does not display third-party advertisements and does not use advertising identifiers.
No Behavioral Tracking
Hourforge does not use tracked work time, projects, notes, or hourly values to build advertising or behavioral profiles.
The application does not use cross-app tracking for its core functionality.
No Sale or Sharing of Work Records
Hourforge does not sell, rent, trade, or disclose project records, tracked hours, notes, hourly rates, or calculated totals to advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.
Removing Local Data
Individual time entries or projects may be removed using the application's available controls.
Local Hourforge data can also generally be removed by clearing the application's storage or uninstalling the app.
Uninstalling may permanently remove locally stored time history unless another system-level backup exists.
Children's Privacy
Hourforge does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users through a developer-operated account system.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if future versions of Hourforge introduce new features or change how information is handled.
The latest version will remain available on this page.
